Changing the Floating ToolBar
Vision's handy floating toolbar is automatically configured
when you install Vision on the teacher's computer and hides
itself at the top of the computer screen. Whenever your mouse
approaches the top of the computer screen, the floating toolbar
will drop down so you have instant access to Vision's features.
But what if you don't want the toolbar at the top of the screen?
You have several options:
1) Use your mouse to grab the toolbar wherever there is not
a feature icon and drag it to any location on your screen.
The toolbar will detach itself from the top of the screen
and park wherever you let go of your mouse.
2) You can resize the toolbar by grabbing the end of the toolbar
until you see the double arrow and then change the toolbar
to any size that you would like.
3) If you drag the toolbar and push it with your mouse to
the very edge of your screen on either side or the bottom
of your screen, the toolbar will park itself in the new location
and autohide when you pull your mouse away.
Working with Annotation Tools
Did you know that MasterPointer is built right into Vision?
When you click on the icon in Vision toolbar that looks like
a highlighter pen, a panel of annotation tools will float
on your desktop. Use any of the 20 great annotation tools
to direct attention to specific portions of your screen. The
annotation panel, built right into Vision, is actually MasterPointer,
our popular annotation utility that corporations use for their
most important presentations.
MasterPointer will autohide when you pull your mouse away
so that it's never intrusive. And even if you close your Vision
presentation, MasterPointer will remain open so you can use
it with ANY application. Try MasterPointer the next time that
you give a presentation in a room where you need to use a
projector. There is no better way to get the attention of
your audience.
Changing the Highlighter
Speaking of the annotation tools...have you ever used a yellow
highlighter on your documents? You can do this and more right
on your screen with Vision.
While using Vision's annotation tools, find the highlighter
pen in the top row of the tools panel and try using the right
button on your mouse to bring up the properties. Here you
will be able to change the pen to ANY color or thickness.
Highlighters come in more colors than just yellow now so try
your favorite color for your next presentation.
