The CEO says Hello

In today's world the requirements for education and training are growing enormously. From childhood through retirement lifelong learning is increasing in importance across all vocations and all cultures. Our world is changing so rapidly that education and training has to be very efficient and cost effective, often times utilizing the newest technology so it can be delivered almost anywhere at anytime. High requirements = increasing demand.

I see these changes at a professional level and at a personal level. At the beginning of September, school in Switzerland had already been underway for several weeks. Because my wife was a bit under the weather, this year I was the parent that attended the parents meeting with the teacher of our eldest daughter. I was sitting as one of a few men attending (parents meetings in Switzerland are still attended primarily by women) on the little kids chair in the main classroom of my daughter and I was listening to the presentation of the teacher. She was telling us how she was structuring the education targets in 2nd grade.
