Phoenix Chooses MasterSolution
Phoenix, AZ - Phoenix Union High School
District 210, Phoenix, Arizona, chose MasterSolution to
supply Altiris Client Management Suite for 6,000 computers
providing comprehensive computer management across the district’s
13 schools and administrative offices. The district joins
a growing number of technologically sophisticated districts
using classroom and network management solutions offered
by MasterSolution to help reduce costs, increase efficiencies
and empower education through the use of technology in the
classroom.
The Altiris Suite is a powerful combination of products
that help IT managers and teachers manage their computer
classrooms more effectively, increase computer uptime and
maximize student learning. Built into the solution are powerful
tools that provide remote capabilities to manage the deployment
and upgrade of computers as well as conduct troubleshooting
from virtually anywhere. This product set is designed to
streamline computer teaching environments by allowing computers
to be configured and reconfigured quickly and easily. Each
computer’s predefined configuration can be restored or refreshed
from one central location rather than require the IT manager
or teacher visit each computer individually.
"The Phoenix Union High School District’s selection
of Altiris is indicative of a growing trend toward the use
of remote management tools by K-12 districts,” said Kirk
Greiner, president, MasterSolution. “We understand that
districts have limited resources to manage, maintain and
control computers. Our product offering is designed to help
IT managers and teachers alike, by improving the management
and use of technology in a teaching environment without
the need to add staff or highly specialized training.”
