The CEO Says Hello

In today's world, the requirements for education and training are growing enormously. From childhood through retirement lifelong learning is increasing in importance across all vocations and all cultures. Our world is changing so rapidly that education and training has to be very efficient and cost effective, often times utilizing the newest technology so it can be delivered almost anywhere at anytime. High requirements - increasing demand.

I see these changes at a professional level and at a personal level. At the beginning of September, school in Switzerland had already been underway for several weeks. Because my wife was a bit under the weather, this year I was the parent that attended the parents meeting with the teacher of our eldest daughter. I was sitting as one of a few men attending (parents meetings in Switzerland are still attended primarily by women) on the little kids chair in the main classroom of my daughter and I was listening to the presentation of the teacher. She was telling us how she was structuring the education targets in 2nd grade. I was deeply impressed with the methods she was using and the way technology was being integrated into the classroom. It was so much better compared to my experience 30 years ago when the extent of technology integration was a typewriter and calculator. I was truly amazed seeing what my 2nd grade child was exposed to and came to appreciate how challenging the curriculum was and how well the school prepared the kids to use technology. I just can’t imagine how a teacher must be able to prepare for such kids. And so, even at this early stage in a child’s life there is pressure to use technology in the right way in school.

Impressions from the discussions with you our customers shows us that basic operational functions in software tools are often more important than the sophisticated features. Keeping it simple and getting back to basics is critical to the successful implementation of technology in the classroom. It's not about the technology in your classroom - it's all about what the technology can do for you and your students.

The potential for the use of technology in education is still enormous. From the home of the teacher to the classroom and the teaching itself there continue to be huge gaps to fill. At MasterSolution we believe that together with our customers we must continue to strive for better, simpler and more efficient solutions to support the use of technology at every level in the education process. As technology evolves the goal for us remains the same, to provide an innovative and suitable platform for the teacher upon which technology can be used and managed in a very simple and useful way. In everything we do, we look to support the education cycle: Create – Manage – Teach – Assess.

MasterSolution appreciates the support of a large customer base worldwide. That support helps us and challenges us every day to improve our existing products and services, and compels us to develop new “e-Learning” solutions. Our employees are passionate about their role in improving the education experience and bring an incredible wealth of experience and knowledge to the area of "Learning" and "Technology". Therefore the greatest strength of MasterSolution lies not in our products or services, but rather in our employees and our customers. It is our sincerest desire to support lifelong learning now and in the future . We look forward to this future and we want to improve it together with you - our customers.

What is more important than the best education?
