Portland, OR - Last year teachers from all over North America got a very special package from Madiswil, Switzerland. Over 40lbs of SWISS CHOCOLATE was mailed out to educators who wrote about how they use Vision Software to help them teach with computers in their classrooms and labs. This year, the 2nd Annual Vision Chocolate Challenge will give away a brand new IPOD and a host of other goodies to celebrate the coming of Vision Software for Mac.

The contest encourages teachers to write about how they use Vision in the classroom and does not require any purchase to enter. MasterSolution offers a FREE 4-User version of Vision for any educator to use in their classroom that never expires so any teacher can enter the contest. The contest runs from Valentine's Day to April 1st 2004. The winners will be announced on April 15th.

Installed on over 3 MILLION computers in schools all over the world, Vision helps teachers monitor computer activity remotely, keep an eye on web browsing, do screen sharing and remotely control student computers. Vision can also help teachers keep student attention on the front of the classroom by blanking screens and locking student keyboards and mice.

"It used to be a tremendous challenge to keep the students involved and learning because certain materials required everyone in the classroom to see what was happening on the screen. Vision solved our problem" says Gale Riedel, our 2003 Chocolate Challenge Grand Prize Winner from District 206 in Alexandria, MN. Gale was just one of the teachers that wrote in to tell us how they use Vision to display classroom materials on every screen instead of relying on projectors that sometimes leave students in the back of the room left out and uninspired.

John Dunn from Galt High School in Galt CA, pointed out that Vision helps him keep students on task and out of trouble during class. "Internet use is difficult to monitor", comments John.
"I need to ensure that students are only accessing web sites which are approved and necessary to the project that they are working on. With Vision in place, students know that I can observe what they are doing and tend to stay on task more. When someone is not using the computer properly, I can quietly send a message or freeze their screen without disrupting the rest of the class".

The contest, which started as a joke about Swiss chocolate between the staff in Portland, OR and the home office in Madiswil, Switzerland has turned into the favorite event of the year at MasterSolution. Everyone loves getting together to read the essays and comments that teachers send in from all over the continent and there is lots and lots of chocolate in the office! Everyone is even more excited this year because so many teachers have written in and called to request a version of Vision for the Mac, MasterSolution will be releasing a Vision for Mac later this year. In addition to 10 pounds of Swiss chocolate, the lucky Grand Prize winner will win a brand new IPOD in celebration of the upcoming Mac version.
