| Launch Applications
Remotely with Vision - Want to learn a
quick and easy way to launch applications remotely on your
students desktops?
1. Click on the Run Application
Icon in the Vision console window or floating button bar.
2. You can type the application path into the Run Application
dialog box that appears, but better yet,
you can drag and drop the icon for the application you wish
to run to the dialog box.
A couple of things to keep in mind when using drag and drop
to start applications on student desktops:
The
dialog box must be empty when you drop the icon on it, so
if it isn't, delete and paths or file names in the box before
you drag an icon to it.
The program you are trying to start on the student computers
must be installed on the student computers.
You
can start the application on your desktop at the same time
by selecting the "Run Application Locally" checkbox.
You
can launch applications on all computers, one computer or
selected computers. Be default applications will start on
all computers. To limit the application to one or a few
computers, highlight those computer icons in the Vision
console before starting the application.
Quickly capture multiple screenshots
with MasterPointer -
Did you know that MasterPointer lets you
create multiple screenshots without having to save each
one individually. Here' how...
1. Click on the MasterSnap icon in the MasterPointer floating
toolbar.
2. Start taking screenshots with the appropriate tool (Full
Screen, Window, Area, Ruler). As you take screenshots each
shot is added to the gallery in the MasterSnap window. Just
keep clicking away and each shot is added without the need
to save.
3. If you want to copy a screenshot to a document simply
right click on the screenshot in the MasterSnap gallery
and click on Copy in the menu that appears. You can now
paste the screenshot into the document.
4. When you are all finished you can save the entire gallery

each one individually and you can easily copy and paste
them into any application that accepts graphics.
