Did you know that you can customize your GenevaLogic products? Here are the latest tips and tricks about tailoring features to fit the way you teach.

Pointer – Using Vision Features from the Pointer toolbar

Here are the steps to take to put your favorite Vision features on the Pointer toolbar:

1) Right click on the Pointer toolbar and select ‘Customize’

2) Left-click and HOLD the Vision Icon from the menu to drag it to the Pointer toolbar.

3) Drag the icon to the Pointer toolbar. Now you can use Vision features while you are using Pointer to annotate your presentation.


Vision – Customize the Lock-Down screen in Vision

Would you like to customize the screen that the students see when you lock their keyboard and mouse with Vision? Just follow these simple instructions:

1) Rick-click on the Vision desktop icon and choose ‘Properties’

2) Select the ‘Locking’ tab.

3) Browse for the image that you would like to appear on the student’s desktop and double click to select it. Now you have a customized image when ‘Lock Screen’ is being used in your classroom.

 

Pointer – Changing the Laser shape and color

Just about all of the tools in Pointer can be customized with your preferred sizes, shapes and colors. Here is how to change the preferences for the laser tool.

1) Select ‘Properties’ on the Pointer toolbar.

2) Use the arrows in the upper right hand corner to scroll to the Laser Pointer tab.

3) Select the Laser tab to make changes to the colors, size, transparency, and animation.

4) Use your new customized laser!
