Vision6 Earns 2006 EDDIE Award From ComputED - Continued
Honored as Best Classroom Management Software
Vision has received a 2006 Education Software Review (EDDIE) Award from ComputED for best “Classroom Management Software” in the Teacher Tools category. This is the eleventh year that ComputED Learning Center, San Diego's leading computer education resource, has presented these awards recognizing innovative and content-rich programs and Web sites that provide parents and teachers with the technology to foster educational excellence – including augmenting the classroom curriculum and improving teacher productivity.
Winners are selected from titles submitted by software publishers around the world. Selection for the EDDIES is based on academic content, potential for broad classroom use, technical merit, subject approach and management system. All submitted titles are made available to school districts, teachers and the public through ComputED and the Educational Software Preview Service of San Diego Center for Educational Technology (a nonprofit organization).
Originally launched in 1996, Vision is currently used in more than 50,000 classrooms worldwide. Vision is the easy-to-use classroom management software that empowers teachers and trainers to guide and supervise student computer activity from the instructor’s computer screen. Teachers use Vision to enhance learning, supervise student progress, monitor or prevent Web browsing, share computer screens and remotely control student computers.
