Sneak Peek: Surf-Lock 2 - Continued

Surf-Lock is one of the most popular products here at GenevaLogic and we couldn’t wait to make it even better. Surf-Lock is a plug-in for Vision that allows teachers to turn web surfing off for a group of students or the entire class with a single mouse click. Surf-Lock2, scheduled for release this Spring, will have some great new features our customers have been requesting.

Teachers will still be able to instantly turn web surfing off for the entire class but now they will also be able to give students access to approved websites during class for completing assignments and doing research. Surf-Lock2 will help focus student attention by allowing only the sites appropriate for the current assignment. Adding sites to the teacher-approved list is as easy as saving a bookmark in your browser.

The added control in Surf-Lock2 will give teachers the ability to customize surfing for the entire class, turning browsing off when needed or allowing a specific group of students to access approved websites while giving others free browse time when appropriate.

Surf-Lock2 will still be sold at the same low price as the original version, starting at only $3.00 per student computer. K-12 site licenses are available.
