Protect-On2 protects the original computer setup from unwanted changes. A simple restart restores machines back to the desired state and can be scheduled to fit your timeframe – options include daily or weekly restorations, as well as restoration upon reboot of the machine.
A redesigned and more intuitive interface makes managing and protecting computers effortless. Another new feature of Protect-On2 allows individual computer protection to be turned on or off remotely and allows the user to restore individual computers, groups of computers or the entire classroom.

Vision integration is another great feature in the new release. Protect-On2 gives Vision users 'one button' integration that opens the security console so teachers can manage security settings. When you use Protect-On2 and Vision together the Vision console shows which computers have security activated so educators can easily see which computers in the classroom are protected.

Another significant improvement Protect-On2 offers is the ability to designate unprotected drive space that will not be altered during restoration. This feature allows students to save work locally. Protect-On2 also offers the option to automatically disable protection in order to allow administrators to perform critical updates of student machines on a set schedule.
