Teachers Talking About Vision
The Texas Computer Education Association convention was one of our most successful conferences yet. Austin is a great city and the whole team enjoyed their time in the Live Music Capital. One of the aspects that made this show so successful was Cindy Reinker, a business teacher at Hebron High School in Carrollton, TX, who presented Vision to conference attendees during a 45-minute session on Thursday, Feb. 8. Cindy uses Vision classroom management software daily with her classes and found that it has changed and improved the way she teaches.
“Before I get started, I want to say that Vision has completely changed my teaching experience,” Cindy said. “I am in control instead of the students being in control. It is that simple. I show the students the features of Vision at the beginning of each semester. This isn’t a secret. I want them to know that I am watching, that we can chat, that I can take a picture of what they are doing, and that I can remote control their computers.”
Cindy talked for approximately 30 minutes to conference attendees who are interested in classroom management software and then answered a barrage of questions from an intrigued audience. She demonstrated how she uses Vision in her classroom with GenevaLogic’s portable lab and received complimentary entrance to the show as well as assistance with travel and lodging expenses for her time.
If you’d like to share the ways you use Vision in your classroom with other educators, please e-mail Jessica and she will work with you to find ways to share your experience so every teacher can learn about the benefits of using classroom management software.
