Testers Needed
GenevaLogic is looking for educators interested in monitoring computer usage on a network-wide basis to test our new product, On-Sight, in the beta stage. The basic function of On-Sight will be familiar to anyone who knows Vision. On-Sight is designed to help fit the needs of technical coordinators, IT administrators and school administrators who are concerned with at-risk students, destructive computer behavior and cyber bullying, allowing them to set up a supervision safety net that teachers can use for student intervention.
On-Sight is fully compatible with Vision and allows the administrator to easily set up groups of computers to monitor from the administrator console with no need to individually configure each computer being monitored after initial installation. Monitored computers can be members of multiple groups. The administrator can monitor individual computers in real time or change the automatic monitoring setting to keep an activity log of computers that are creating problems. This function can also be set to monitor a specific log-in name, so an activity log can be created when specific students log on to any computer with On-Sight installed.
If you’re interested in testing On-Sight, please send us an e-mail and we’ll contact you.
