Share Your Knowledge

“The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery.” - Mark van Doren

A teacher is always a teacher, regardless of the age of the people surrounding them. One of the cornerstones of the teaching profession has always been educators sharing knowledge with other educators. Here at GenevaLogic, we support teachers who seek to contribute their professional expertise to other teachers who can benefit.

Washington County Technology Coordinator Anne Higman did just that at the MICCA conference in April. The seats filled as Anne taught her fellow Maryland educators about her methods for accomplishing her classroom management now that computers are such a big part of the teaching environment.

Anne spoke about her teaching experiences and challenges and also shared how Vision, Surf-Lock and App-Control have helped her teach more effectively in her classroom by allowing her to concentrate on what teachers are great at, sharing their knowledge, instead of worrying about student computer activity. It was a great presentation and we learned a lot by being there.

Would you like to share your teaching experiences? GenevaLogic is always looking for great educators who want to talk about the benefits of classroom management software. We support teachers by assisting them with travel expenses and we can even provide you with needed computer equipment for your presentation when we are in your area.

There are lots of ways we can help you, even if you aren’t attending a conference - contact Jessica here in our office and let us find a way to help you light the way for other teachers who need help learning how to manage their classroom computers in an ever-changing school technology environment.
