September 13, 2005 Plano ISD Chooses Pointer On-Screen Annotation Tool The Plano Independent School District of Plano, Texas has chosen GenevaLogic’s Pointer for the presentation and teaching needs of every classroom teacher in the district. June 6, 2005 Salem-Keizer School District Selects Vision Second Largest District in Oregon Standardizes on Vision Classroom Management Software A selection committee from the Salem-Keizer school district in Salem, Oregon, has awarded GenevaLogic a district wide contract for its Vision classroom management and Surf-Lock Internet blocking software. Vision and Surf-Lock were selected over three other Lab Control product offerings based on its extended feature set and support services. The District will be implementing the software across its 70 schools over the upcoming school year.
The Salem-Keizer school district is the second largest in Oregon with over 38,000 students and 2,000 licensed teachers and counselors. Over 10,000 PCs and Macs have been integrated into the districts teaching environment making it one of the most technically innovative districts within the state.
